Content creator

To develop and implement the BCIS content strategy. Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, you will be  responsible for producing compelling content that engages and influences audiences and prospects at each stage of their buying journey

• Provide timely and engaging content to help BCIS Products achieve financial targets
• Seek and recommend appropriate business architecture to support execution of a content management strategy.
• Contribute to customer insight and internal knowledge sharing processes
• Work with key stakeholders to analyse and assess the impact of content production
• Coordinate and monitor timelines for new content development initiatives
• Day-to-day management of editorial calendar and ensure it aligns with product sales cycles and wider organisation workflows
• Create all aspects of content production, including blogs, articles, whitepapers, email marketing, imagery and videos
• Use customer behaviour and engagement metrics to recommend, monitor and report on effective content formats and channel distribution
• Support members of the Sales Engagement Team with proofing, copy best-practice and appropriate presentation/distribution of sales proposals
• Oversee the collation, management and distribution of product case studies and testimonial content
• Help to ensure brand consistency and legal compliance (e.g. copyright and data protection) across all commercial content
• Keep up to date with industry best practice, monitor competitors, and pass on this insight to other members of the team
• establishing and maintaining contacts.

• Develop and deliver BCIS’ commercial content strategy
• Achieve/exceed performance targets based on content influence and engagement KPIs (including leads and page conversions)
• Define and develop a best practice model and implement across marketing – support at team when required
• Collaborate with wider teams to ensure consistent organisation wide approach to content and alignment where relevant
• Analyse, assess and report on impact of content.

• Degree educated preferable, ideally from an English, marketing or journalism related degree
• Journalistic background an advantage
• Excellent writing skills in English
• Experience working in/prior knowledge of the built environment advantageous
• Ability to collaborate with several stakeholders and project management organisation-wide projects
• Proven experience of concepting, planning and delivering content-led campaigns for a range of clients, to a tight deadline
• Experience of producing and managing the distribution of a range of digital assets (for example blogs, news articles, features, case studies, videos, infographics and imagery) for multiple channels
• Be curious and creative minded with an ability to conceive interesting new ideas for new content
• A clear passion for, or experience working within the built environment sector would be advantageous
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
• Able to build strong networks and relationships and manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders within the team, across the wider business and externally.
